This database contains the most recent
food additive specifications of JECFA for uses other than as flavouring
agents. You can search the database using (1) the name or ID number,
(2) the functional use and / or the purity criteria; (3) you can also
retrieve all the specifications designed as tentative. For ID number
searching use either the International Numbering System (INS) number
adopted by the Codex Alimentarius Commission or by Chemical Abstract
Service (CAS) number. This is by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee
on Food Additives (JECFA).
