How to Search ScienceDirect databases: Save Query
Save Query is only available at Search Results display and in Personal Login.
Use the Search History feature at the search form if you wish to keep your search statements up to 7 days only. Click on Save Query, to store a longer period of time.
If you did not login, a Login cum Register screen will be displayed.
The next screen will appear indicating that your search query has been saved to your account.

To run a previously Save Query, at the search form, click on Recall Search.

From the list saved queries, select the search statement and click on.
- Retrieve New Articles Only - To restrict the search to look at only those documents which have been added since your most recent run of the query.
- Retrieve All Articles - To search all available documents using the original search query
- Modify Search - To modify the saved search request (e.g., change the search terms, the fields searched, the sources searched, etc.)
- Delete - to delete the selected statement.
