How to Search ScienceDirect databases: Cited Reference

To locate journal articles that have cited your article, patent or conference paper. For some article published by Elsevier Group, use the Cited by in the full record display to locate newer article that have cited that article.

This feature is an exact word match in the reference list of each article.  The result of this search is heavily dependent on the reference is entered into the database.  

It is important to try all possible format.

To begin, click on Search

To find a conference articles that have cited: 

Article: H. Sun and T.-C. Chiu, Equalization of multi-cylinder electro-hydraulic systems. In: Proceedings of the American Control Conference '00 Chicago, IL vol. 6, IEEE, Piscataway, NJ (2000), pp. 4131-4138

Type the article title and conference name and select References as shown and click on

Click on either SummaryPlus, Full Text + Links or PDF to see the reference list for the article listed above:
