Journals Collection

NUS Libraries' Journals collection consists of (examples):

1) Journals, periodicals, magazines (Print, electronic and other formats)
2) Some conference proceedings, newsletters and annual reports
3) Databases and newspapers (print and electronic) that are continuously updated
4) Other formats that are published under the same title in some form of regularity

Use LINC+ (Library INtegrated Catalogue) to find journal titles for a particular subject area. Note that LINC does not index most article titles. To search for articles, please use electronic databases subscribed by NUS Libraries.

 

How to Find Journal Titles in LINC+

  At NUS Libraries http://www.lib.nus.edu.sg/, under the search tab LINC+, enter search terms, e.g. pharmacokinetics
 


A list of search results appears. On the left, under Refine By: -- COLLECTION, click on Journals Collection
 


(Note: Search results are sorted by "Relevance" by default. Choose to sort by "Title" or "Date" if desired
 

 
  In the list of results, click on the title to view details, such as the availability of print and electronic version


 

To view the online journal, click on View the electronic version (full-text) via ...

To view the print journal, note down the Location, Call # and Status. Click here on the meaning of:

Location
Status

 

To find related journals, under Subject:, click on relevant subject, e.g. Pharmacology -- Periodicals

 

 
 
To set other search limits such as year of publication, language and publisher, at the top of the screen, click on Advanced Search
