Journals Collection
NUS Libraries' Journals collection consists of (examples):
1) Journals, periodicals, magazines (Print, electronic and other formats)
2) Some conference proceedings, newsletters and annual reports
3) Databases and newspapers (print and electronic) that are continuously updated
4) Other formats that are published under the same title in some form of regularity
Use LINC (Library INtegrated Catalogue) to find journal titles for a particular subject area. Note that LINC does not index most article titles. To search for articles, please use electronic databases subscribed by NUS Libraries.
Search Tips to Finding Journal Titles in LINC
1) Go to LINC http://linc.nus.edu.sg/
2) Under SEARCH special collection:, click on Journals Collection
3) Use Simple search and type in keywords.
e.g. Pharmacokinetics
Search results are sorted by date by default. Choose to sort by "Relevance" or "Title" if desired.
4) Use to set other search limits such as year of publication, language and physical format
5) Click on desired title to see availability of different formats such as print or electronic.
Click here on how to get
current issues, issues "At Binding", Bound Journals or
Closed Stacks.
6) Click on View the electronic version .... If there are more than 1 link, try either one as these links may have different years of coverage
7) Click on relevant subject headings used in the record to get more journals,
e.g. Pharmacology -- Periodicals. About 132 other journals are found.
8) Type another keyword or Click on Modify Search to search using other criteriaor click on Start Over to search by another option.
