Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals at Columbia University is a new CD-ROM title subscribed by Central Library. It covers journal articles from more than 700 periodicals from the United States and abroad. The date coverage is from 1977 to present. Currently it has over 209,000 records and is updated annually.

This CD-ROM complements Architectural Publications Index Ondisc which is produced by the British Architectural Library at the Royal Institute of British Architects. Both titles are available from the Information Desk in Central Library.

Avery Index covers architectural design, the history and practice of architecture, landscape architecture, historic preservation, interior design, city planning, etc. The software is DOS-based and user friendly. Records found in Avery can be downloaded or printed. Ask for this CD-ROM at the Central Library Information Desk.
