This new title covers all the digests of Malaysian and Singapore case law contained in the 12 Reissue volumes of the Fourth Edition of the printed version, updated with digests from subsequent Yearbooks up to 31 December 1995. It has data from 1808.
The next release will incorporate the 1996 Yearbook and Mallal's Current Law. After which each four-monthly release will incorporate the most recent Current Law material.
There are two infobases in the CD-ROM, the Indexer and Digest. The Indexer consists of two indexes, the subject index and table of cases.
The Indexer infobase contains hypertext or jump links which allow the user to jump instantaneously from the Indexer to the Digest. Hypertext links are indicated by coloured underlined text.
For example, a user checks on the subject of Legal Profession in the subject index, and finds a case on ad hoc admission with title D'Cruz v Attorney General, Malaysia & Anor and citation [1971] 2 MLJ 130. The coloured text, 9 [1370] appears beside it. If the user double-clicks on 9 [1370], the system will jump to that digest.
