CD-ROM Highlights
This is the CD-ROM equivalent of the Architectural Periodicals Index from 1978. It provides citations from over 400 periodicals on architecture published in some 45 countries; over 70 per cent of them originate outside the United Kingdom. APId includes citations to books, exhi bition catalogues, technical reports, audiovisual materials and other publications catalogued by the British Architectural Library at the Royal Institute of British Architects since 1984. Updated quarterly.
APId runs on Windows 3.2 and you can download your search results to 3 1/2" diskettes. Obtain API d from the Central Library Information Desk.
Back issues of American newspapers, The New York Times (1988 onwards) and Washington Post (1989 onwards), and United Kingdom newpapers, The Times and The Sunday Times (1990 - 1995) and The Independent (October 1988 - 1995) are available for use.
The CD-ROMs contain the full text of the articles, which can be saved to diskette. Ask for them at the Central Library Information Desk.
