Mrs Teo-Phoon Moi Ying is appointed Acting Head of Media Resources Dept in Central Library with effect from 8 May 1996, taking over the reins from Mrs Dora Yeo.
Moi Ying was deployed in the Serials Dept since she joined the Library in March 1987 as Assistant Librarian. She was promoted to Assistant Librarian I in January 1993. Before joining the Library, she set up and ran the Information Resource Centre at the Faculty of Architecture & Building from 1983.
The main task that she has set for herself is to continue to provide good service to the staff and students and to promote the rich collection of audiovisual materials in the Media Resources Dept.
