Change of loan rules, bound periodicals - no loan

With effect from 10 July 1995, the NUS Library will discontinue its practice of loaning out bound periodicals to ALL categories of members. The decision has come about after much deliberation on the part of the Library Committee as well as the Deans of the Faculties and the Directors of the Schools of Postgraduate Studies.

The rationale behind this move is that a user looking for a particular journal will have a better chance of locating it if no one has taken it out of the Library. We hope that this new practice will allow all users to have fair and easier access to the bound periodicals collections.

Note that Bound Periodicals can be loaned by NUS academic staff and graduate students.
