C J Koh Law Library staff were recently approached by A/P Milagros Rivera to do a library tour and tutorial for her 18 Arts Honours Year students. The students were working on a topic that required them to look at legislation, legal cases, journal articles and newspaper articles. On 3 February 2004, the library staff organised a one-hour demonstration of databases relevant to the students’ research topic. This was followed by a familiarisation tour of the C J Koh Law Library’s collection and services. We welcome teaching staff requests to show their students how to maximise their use of the C J Koh Law Library and its rich resources. Library staff will be able to tailor the session to meet the research needs of both law and non-law students. |
