Bloomberg Professional ServicePoh Swee Lian, Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library Staff and students of the Faculty of Business Administration can now have access to Bloomberg Professional Service, a database used by financial analysts around the world. The Bloomberg workstation in Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library is located on the first floor. Only students and staff of the Faculty of Business Administration are allowed to book a one-hour-a-day session at the Library's Information Counter. Bloomberg is an online financial service that provides in-depth company profiles, financial data, industry and market news, economic indicators, quotes and technical analysis on U.S. and international securities. It delivers the total picture for publicly-traded companies worldwide through quarterly and annual financial statements from all companies in developed countries. It provides the latest updates and in-depth analysts reports. It helps investors to see the total return of a company in comparison to its peers and industry group. It assists in understanding investors through portfolio analytics. It tracks up-to-the minute news, giving coverage of world markets, companies, economies, politics and global events.
