World Development Indicators CD-ROM 1999

This CD-ROM gives tables and text from the print title World Development Indicators and World Bank Atlas. Data is given for the period 1960 to 1997, where available. It contains more than 500 time series indicators for over 200 countries economies. The data is grouped under six headings; World View, People, Environment, Economy, States and Market, and Global Links. It aims to provide a comprehensive survey of world development. In addition, the software allows the user to generate maps and charts and to export the results. It is produced by the World Bank and is updated annually.

OECD Statistical Compendium CD-ROM 1999

This CD-ROM provides a macroeconomic overview of the economies of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development) member countries. The OECD member's countries are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States.

It is a compilation of some OECD statistics on the following areas: Foreign Trade Data, Agriculture & Food Statistics, Development & Aid, General Economic Problems, Economic Indicators, National Accounts, Employment, Financial & Fiscal Affairs, Industry, Science & Technology and Energy for the 29 OECD Member countries. It contains over 700,000 series including monthly, quarterly, annual data beginning from 1960. It is produced by DSI Data Service and Information and is updated twice a year in April and October.

Macmillan: Cabinet Papers, 1957-63 on CD-ROM

It provides direct access to documents of the Macmillan administration covering the period January 1957-October 1963 and the first three months of the Douglas-Home administration from October-December 1963.

The Macmillan CD-ROM provides complete full-text coverage of the Cabinet Conclusions (Minutes) (CAB 128) and Memoranda (CAB 129) but selective documents from the Prime Minister's Private Office (PREM 11) and the PRO Classes CAB 134 (Cabinet Committees) are included. It also contains five original essays on particular aspects of the Macmillan administration. It is produced by the Public Record Office and Adam Matthew Publications.
