With effect from the October 1999 update of CA on CD (Chemical Abstracts), a new feature has been added to enable you
to link directly to a full text electronic article from the
bibliographic citation. This feature is available on both
CA on CD and CI on CD (Collective Index). The majority of the links to full
text electronic articles are to articles published from 1996 or
1997 onwards, with some links to articles from earlier years.
To view an article electronically from the full record display, click on the Full text button.

This opens a Web browser with a link to ChemPort. There is an illustrated example available at
http://www.cas.org/ONLINE/CD/CACD/cacdfull.html. If the electronic article is available, you
will be able to click on Subscribers view e-article.

You can only access electronic articles of journals that
are subscribed by the NUS Library. Please see
http://www.lib.nus.edu.sg/digital/ejournals/ for the list of
subscribed titles. Visit http://chemport.org/html/english/publishers_list.html
for the list of journals titles available on ChemPort.
Some journals which you have access on ChemPort via NUSNET include:
- Journal of the American Chemical Society
- Journal of Physical Chemistry A
