Chinese Library new opening hours

The NUS Library is pleased to announce that with effect from 3 January 2000, the opening hours of the Chinese Library will be extended to follow the same hours as the Central Library. The new opening hours are as follows:

Mondays to Saturdays
Sundays
Public Holidays
8.00 am - 10.00 pm
9.30 am - 4.30 pm
Closed
Vacation
Mondays to Fridays
Saturdays
Sundays & Public Holidays
8.30 am - 7.00 pm
8.30 am - 5.00 pm
Closed

Loan counter service

Due to staff constraints, the Chinese Library’s loan counter will operate during the following hours:

Saturdays
Sundays & Public Holidays
8.00 am - 7.00 pm
8.00 am - 5.00 pm

Vacation
Mondays to Saturdays
Sundays & Public Holidays
8.30 am - 5.00 pm

When the Chinese Library loan counter is closed, users who wish to borrow or return books can continue to do so at the Central Library’s loan counter (5th floor of the Central Library). During such time, access to the Central Library from within the Chinese Library is by a side door on the 5th floor which links the two libraries. A directional sign will be put up for this purpose. The Chinese Library will close its Main Entrance the same time it closes its loan counter.
