We would like to inform all users of the Japanese collection that with effect from 4^th August 2003, access to the Japanese Collection is via the main entrance of Chinese Library, which is situated at the linkway between Central Library 6^th floor and Lecture Theatre 3.

The former Japanese Resources Dept. has been merged with the Chinese Library effective October 2002. The Japanese collection is now housed in the newly renovated premises in Chinese Library on 6^th floor. During the renovation of the Chinese Library, the Japanese collection was accessed via the Central Library

The Chinese Library Loan Counter will handle loans of the Japanese materials, including the Japanese RBR books, which have been shifted from the Central Library Loan Counter to the Chinese Library Loan Counter. Japanese CD-ROMs will also be issued at the Chinese Library Loan Counter.
