The printer could be printing specific portions of the PDF document based on your print settings. The print settings available depend on the version of Acrobat Reader you have installed.
For example, your print settings may show a checkbox for "Comments." If you checked this box but there are no comments to print, then the printout will be blank.
Another example could be that your print settings under Print What is set to "Form Fields only." If there are no form fields in your document, your printout will also be blank.
Please check your print settings carefully to ensure that you are printing the correct portion of the PDF document.
