If you are using Internet Explorer 5 (IE5), the error message could be due to a missing file in your IE5 folder. You will need to copy a file called
Nppdf32.dll into your IE program folder at c:\program files\IE\Plugins folder.
To download the nppdf32.dll file,
1) right-click on nppdf32.dll
2) select "Save target as"
3) locate the IE plugins folder and click "Save"
