  Q. How do I access the NUS Libraries Portal if I do not have an existing Internet connection?

If you already have an existing dialup or broadband Internet connection via SingNet, SCV/StarHub or Pacific Internet, you can access the NUS Libraries Portal from home or off-campus via the library proxy service.  Just point your browser to the NUS Libraries Portal and login with your NUS network ID and password when prompted.

However, if you do not have an existing Internet connection, you may use the free dialup service provided by NUS.  Please note that normal phone charges apply.

Dialup via NUS
To dialup to NUSNET, please make sure that you have a PC or laptop with a modem connected to a phone line.  You will also need your NUSNET User ID and password.

For details on how to configure your modem for NUSNET dialup, please refer to the guide on Remote Access Service by the NUS Computer Center.
