Document Delivery Services (DDS) for NUS-Affiliated National Research Institutes/Centres

DDS aims to provide copies of journal articles, book chapters or conference papers to NUS staff and students, staff of NUS-Affiliated Research Institutes/Centres, and NUS Libraries corporate members.

How to apply to use DDS?

  • A deposit account of S$2,000.00 is required for staff of NUS-Affiliated Research Institutes/Centres to use DDS.
  • The Library will notify the organization to top up the deposit account by an additional S$2,000.00 when the balance falls below S$500.00.

What can DDS do for you?

You can obtain a photocopy of a journal article or a book chapter or a conference paper from the print collection in the NUS libraries through DDS. The DDS can also obtain such materials for you from other libraries and commercial suppliers, if they are not available in the NUS Library's print collection.

How are the articles delivered?

  • Articles have to be collected in person from the designated NUS Library of your choice.
  • If you are unable to come in person, you may authorize another person to collect the article on your behalf using the authorization form attached to your collection notice.

How to request for DDS?

  1. Print the Document Delivery Request Form for staff of NUS-Affiliated Research Institutes/Centres available at http://www.lib.nus.edu.sg/guides/ddsrfrm.pdf.
  2. Fill in all the details required on the request form.
  3. Requests have to be approved by the designated authorised officer of your organization before they are sent to the Library.
