What is LibQUAL+™?
LibQUAL+™ is a survey tool developed, rigorously tested and
offered by Association of Research Libraries (ARL) in the
United States.
The instrument measures library user perceptions of their
libraries' service quality: Affect of service, Information
control and Library as "place". It identifies gaps between
minimum, desired and perceived levels of service.
Academic/research libraries throughout the world use it to
solicit, track, understand and act upon users' perceptions
of service quality, and the survey data help library
administrators to identify best practices, analyse deficits
and effectively allocate resources.
