Gateway to World History
Created and maintained by H. Haines Brown, this site contains extensive annotated links to sites on world history.  Archives are categorised into geographic regions.  The section on "Resources for History" also contains many reference tools for historical studies.

History Collections by the University of California at Berkeley has links to resources on world history at UC Berkeley, other institutions and on the Internet.  Categories include 1) Africa, 2) China, Japan, Korea, 3) Eastern Europe, 4) Latin America, 5) Medieval, 6) Mexico, 7) Near East/Middle East, South/Southeast Asia, and 8) Western Europe.

WWW Virtual Library on History is maintained by the University of Kansas.  It has four main categories: 1) Research: methods & materials, 2) Eras and epochs, 3) Historical topics, and 4) Geographical subdivision.  Links to historical resources include electronic texts, online discussion lists as well as instructional resources and bibliographies.

Yahoo: History has annotated links to thousands of websites on history arranged by region, subject and time period.  It also features links to journals, conferences, maps, geneaology, historiology, etc.

Singapore

Knowledge Net Singapore by National Archives Singapore is a "multimedia, content-rich web site on Singapore history...its pages include digitized archives of Singapore historical documents and audio-visual material."  

Singapore WWW Virtual Library by Suzanne McMahon has a section on Singapore's history, in addition to other resources on the country's politics, business and economy, society and culture, mass media, ejournals, etc.

American Memory Historical Collections for the National Digital Library by the Library of Congress features maps, manuscripts, printed text, sheet music, motion pictures, sound recordings, photo and prints of the American historical archival collection.  Each collection can be searched individually or across multiple collections.  A listing of collections by subject categories, formats, time lines, or geographic regions is also available.
