On the Internet
These journals and magazines keep track of the development and new sites coming up on the Internet.
- Boardwatch is a 'guide to Internet, World Wide Web and BBS'. It has the fulltext of an issue available but you need to register (for free) before you can view the text.
- Interactive Age is a 'online newspaper for electronic commerce' by CMP Publications who has many other publications on the Web.
- Internaut is an 'online magazine for users of the Internet', by Internaut Books. It covers developments on the Internet.
- INTERNET RESOURCES Newsletter is a free newsletter produced by Heriot-Watt University Library. It has substantial information on internet resources of interest to the higher education community, such as new listservs, internet books, etc.
- Internet World Online has selected articles from the printed version of Internet World, which is 'a blend of news, commentary, advice and site pointers.'
- NetSurfer Digest produced by NetSurfer Communication Inc which also produces NetSurfer Marketplace, NetSurfer Focus and Netsurfer Tools.
- NetWatch is a 'weekly web magazine with perspectives on enabling technologies'. It also has a Top Ten list of web sites.
- NetGuide the guide to online services and the Internet, from CMP Publications which has many other publications on the Web.
- Web Review produced by GNN.
- Where it's at is a UK publication on and about WWW. Each issue highlights different sites with a review and a rating of the site.
You can also find other sources of information by using keywords on Internet search from Netscape.
