A*STAR Digital Library (enhanced)
Service provided by National University of Singapore Libraries

Welcome to the enhanced A*STAR Digital Library system!

 (URL: http://www.lib.nus.edu.sg/astarnew)

This system has the following enhancements:

1.      Improved browsing and searching capabilities

2.      Description of the available collections and databases

3.      Addition of a Proxy Bookmarklet tool for use with full-text links obtained from external websites or email alerts from publishers

The screen shot below shows the enhanced features available in the system:

1.     Improved browsing and searching capabilities

A new browse and search interface is available through an external application system (called CASE, for Content Access Service) which provides browsing/searching features to help users to find the desired electronic journals quickly.

Click on the link (circled yellow) to access the search interface:

To learn how to browse/search database and electronic journals, click on ‘How to search’ (blue arrow).

Note: To date, we have populated more than 97% of the e-journals subscribed by A*STAR into the system. For the convenience of the researchers, we have provided a list of e-journals (accessible via the maroon coloured square in the above screen shot) which have not yet been included in the system at the moment. This list will be updated as and when the title is available in the system.

2.     Description of the available collections and databases
